What Does UGC Mean on an Account Recovery Tool Page?
Geschlossener Thread Vom Archiv geschlossenI saw a product page using UGC to mean "Unban & Governance Control" and describing account recovery workflows. I'm trying to understand what that actually tells a buyer. The listing I saw was on our UGC product page, which frames it as a workflow tool rather than a guaranteed reversal.
A tool might help someone organize information or manage a workflow, but surely it can't guarantee that Riot reverses a ban. The platform still decides what happens to the account, right?
What questions would you ask before trusting a product with account-related information?

Also, "automated appeal" doesn't mean "appeal approved." Those are not synonyms, despite what marketing departments dream about.
Does UGC always mean the same thing? I've mostly seen it used for user-generated content.
Nope, acronyms depend on context. On a product page, use the definition the seller provides, then verify what features are actually documented.
Never hand over a one-time code or recovery code to a stranger. Support staff shouldn't need you to casually post that stuff in a forum either.
