Can a Skin Changer Show Cosmetics Only on Your Own Screen?
Geschlossener Thread Vom Archiv geschlossenQuestion about skin changers in general, not looking for install steps. If a third-party tool changes how a weapon looks on one person's screen, does that mean the skin is actually unlocked on the account or visible to the rest of the lobby?
I'd assume not, but online videos can be pretty misleading. Also, a tool that supports some games doesn't automatically support every game. I couldn't find enough detail to assume Valorant compatibility from a generic feature list alone.
How do you tell what's an official cosmetic unlock versus a local visual change? I skimmed skin changer product details to see how one vendor describes local-only effects.

And the other players' view is a separate question. A local effect doesn't mean the game server has granted the cosmetic.
Imagine flexing a knife that only exists for you. The lobby sees default, your wallet sees regret.
More seriously, check game-specific support directly. Don't assume because a tool lists "skin changer" that Valorant is covered.
I'd also read the game's rules before trying anything that modifies the client. Cosmetic isn't automatically risk-free.
